Gameplay Interactive (GPI) is a game studio that supplies Asian-focused slots, live dealer baccarat and lottery games to online casinos. It does not run a casino or take bets itself. Instead, you reach its slots and Gameplay casino tables through a licensed operator, which holds your account, login and money. Among the casinos we review, BK8, 96M, BODA8 and GOD55 mention GPI games.

What Is Gameplay Interactive?

Gameplay Interactive is a B2B supplier, so it sells games and platforms to casino operators rather than to players. CB Insights lists its office in San Gwann, Malta, and describes its work as game design, software development, hosting and turnkey services. We could not confirm its founding year from a reliable source, so we leave it out.

Its company profile on Gambling Insider, updated in January 2025, sums up the range as 20+ live dealer tables, 100+ slot titles and 40+ lottery and other games. The same profile says BMM tests its live casino products and GLI tests its slots. However, we could not find a regulator licence on a public register, so we do not claim one.

The studio also has a long record in Asian markets. In May 2015, SBTech announced a deal to supply GPI with a sportsbook built for Asian betting, according to SBC News. That deal brought bet types such as Asian handicap and over/under to the GPI platform for its operator clients.

How Gameplay Interactive Reaches Players

According to its profile, GPI offers two routes to market. Operators can take a full white-label site with back-office tools, or they can add GPI games to an existing casino through an integration. Either way, the casino operator runs the site, your account and any payments, not GPI.

So there is no GPI account for players. You sign up with a casino, deposit through its cashier with methods such as Touch 'n Go, DuitNow or FPX where offered, and then open GPI games from its lobby.

Gameplay Interactive Slots

Gameplay Interactive says it releases about 10 new slots per quarter. Its slots use features such as jackpot games, cascading reels, cluster wins and free spins, with themes from Asian folklore, Western myth, fantasy and pop culture. Public data on older titles is thin, so we focus on recent releases with published figures.

Pet Park: 32,400 Ways to Win

Pet Park is a cute animal-themed slot with an unusual 5-6-6-6-6-5 reel layout, which gives 32,400 ways to win. Gambling Insider lists a 96.63% RTP and a top prize of 50,000x the total bet. Winning symbols collapse, and new ones fall in until no new wins form.

The main twist is the transforming symbol. A silver-framed symbol in a win turns gold, and a gold-framed symbol in a later win turns wild. Goldfish symbols also carry 2x multipliers that can add up, while four or more scatters award 10 free spins.

Squad Games: Poker Hands on a 3x3 Grid

Squad Games mixes poker and slots. It spins a 3x3 grid with eight fixed lines, and you win by landing poker-style hands such as a straight flush, three of a kind, a straight or a flush. Gambling Insider gives a default RTP of 97.02%, so check the info screen, because your casino's version may differ.

Older 3D Titles

GPI built its name on 3D slots for web and mobile, which it promoted as early as 2015. Directory listings still show older Gameplay Interactive slots such as The Monkey King, Qixi Festival and Fortune Cat. However, these games rarely show RTP figures in public sources, so open the info screen before you play any of them.

Gameplay Casino: Live Tables

Live baccarat is the core of the Gameplay casino suite. Directory listings for Gameplay Interactive name Baccarat, Super 98 Baccarat, 7Up Baccarat, Dragon Tiger, Sic Bo, Super Color Sic Bo, Roulette, Blackjack, 3 Pictures and Super Fantan. Our casino reviews also list the studio as Gameplay or Game Play, so look for either name in the lobby.

We could not confirm the current rules for variants such as 7Up Baccarat or Super 98 Baccarat from a primary source. So open each table's rules screen before you bet, because payouts and side bets change from one variant to the next. Also note that live tables have no demo mode, so you usually need a funded casino account to play.

Live Baccarat Odds and House Edge

On a standard commission table, the Banker bet pays 0.95 to 1 and carries a house edge of about 1.06%. The Player bet pays 1 to 1 with an edge of about 1.24%. By contrast, a Tie paying 8 to 1 has an edge of about 14.36%, which makes it the costliest main bet.

Many Asian studios also run no-commission tables, where a Banker win on 6 pays only half. That rule lifts the Banker edge to about 1.46%. So check which version your table uses, since the paytable decides the real cost of each bet.

Dragon Tiger, Sic Bo and Super Tables

Dragon Tiger deals one card each to Dragon and Tiger, and the higher card wins. In the standard version, a tie costs you half of a Dragon or Tiger bet, which gives those bets a house edge of about 3.7%. Sic Bo uses three dice, and its Big and Small bets carry an edge of about 2.8%, because any triple loses.

GPI also markets a Super series, where special features randomly boost the odds on some rounds. Random boosts do not remove the house edge, though. Compare the payouts in the rules screen with the standard version before you choose a Super table.

Table Views and Roadmaps

According to its profile, Gameplay Interactive offers several ways to view a table. The 2D view shows roadmaps and history, while the 3D view gives a first-person seat. A 7-seater view shows other players' bets, and multi-table play lets you follow up to three tables at once. GPI also runs chroma-key tables that place the dealer in themed virtual sets.

One feature needs a warning. A “good road” alert flags tables with streaks and lets you bet on them in a pop-up. Roadmaps are only a record of past results, though. Each hand is independent, so a streak does not predict the next result, and chasing good roads just means betting more often.

Baccarat Squeeze and Virtual Tables

Not every GPI baccarat game is live. Gambling Insider's 2025 write-up of Baccarat Squeeze describes animated cards that peel back slowly and eight freshly shuffled decks every round. The side with the most money on it gets the squeeze, and a Banker win on 6 pays only half.

In that game, the Tie pays 9 to 1 and each Pair bet pays 11 to 1. A 9 to 1 Tie still carries a house edge of about 4.8%, and the Pair bets carry about 10.4%. As a result, the main Banker and Player bets remain the cheaper choices. GPI also offers other RNG tables with 3D animated dealers.

Gameplay Interactive Lottery and Other Games

Beyond slots and live tables, Gameplay Interactive supplies lottery and P2P games. Directory listings name its Keno and iLotto products, and the company profile describes number-based lottery games with RNG and live-draw formats. As with any keno, results are random, so no number pattern improves your chances.

The studio also lists Poker Mahjong, a player-versus-player game that blends mahjong tiles with poker betting. In P2P games you compete against other players rather than the house, and the operator usually takes a fee from each game or pot. GPI says it runs anti-collusion and fraud checks on this product.

Gameplay Interactive Demo Play

For slots, demo play is the best way to learn a GPI game before you stake money. Some casinos offer a demo or fun mode on the game tile, though availability varies by casino and by title. We did not find a public demo portal run by the studio itself.

A demo uses virtual credits, so it shows how often features trigger and how big the swings feel. Use it to check the bet range and the RTP in the info screen, too. Remember that demo wins never become cash, and a good demo run does not predict real-money results.

Live dealer tables are different. Because a real dealer runs each round, the Gameplay Interactive live baccarat, Dragon Tiger and Sic Bo tables have no demo mode. Instead, watch a few rounds without betting, read the rules screen, and start with the minimum stake if you decide to play.

There is no separate GPI login. You sign in with your casino username and password, then open GPI games from the casino lobby. Deposits, withdrawals, bonuses and deposit limits all sit with the casino, never with the studio.
